The semi-metal pads consist to a large extent of metal and are mixed with portions of organic materials. Due to this mixture a lower wear than with organic pads can be observed.
Tip for assembly: Before removing the old pads, push back the brake piston with the transport lock or a screwdriver.
Caution after replacement! The pressure point on the brake lever can change during installation; this should be checked before the first ride to prevent excessive, unintentional braking.
