DESCRIPTION:
In a variomatic transmission, the centrifugal clutch provides the frictional connection between the engine and the tyres. In most cases, however, this frictional connection occurs at a speed at which the engine does not yet have its full power. The result: a poor start at traffic lights and a starting weakness, especially uphill and when riding with a pillion rider.
In this case, a sport clutch provides a remedy.
