Was machen eigentlich Lichtmaschine und Spannungsregler?
Während der Fahrt wird die Batterie von der Lichtmaschine geladen und versorgt alle elektronischen Verbraucher an Bord mit Strom. Der Spannungsregler ist dafür verantwortlich, dass die Glühlampen nicht durchbrennen und für das Laden der Batterie. Aber die Hauptaufgabe des Reglers ist es, die von der Lichtmaschine erzeugte Wechselspannung (AC) in die im Bordnetz verwendete Gleichspannung (DC) 12V umzuwandeln und diese dann in einem bestimmten Bereich zu halten.
