Wenn ein Roller luftgekühlt ist (AC), dann bedeutet dies meist, dass der Motors über ein Gebläse mit Kühlluft versogrt wird (im Gegensatz zu dem meisten der luftgekühlten Motorräder und Mopeds, hier geschieht dies durch den Fahrtwind).
Wenn man nun die Leistung des Motors nun beispielsweise mit einem größerem Vergaser und/oder Zylinder steigert, kann es passieren, dass die Kühlleistung des originalen Gebläses nicht mehr ausreicht und der Motor überhitzt.

Um das zu vermeiden kann man ein verbessertes Lüfterrad verbauen, das mehr kühlende Luft zum Motor führt.
