It's quite simple!
1. Remove the diaphragm block
2. hold the diaphragm block with the pointed side in the light
3. if you can see through a small gap, the diaphragm is defective
The diaphragm block is e.g. for the scooters Aprilia Sportcity Street, Derbi Atlantis, Gilera Stalker and Piaggio Vespa ET2 50.
