HPC steht für High-Primary-Compression - also eine hohe Vorverdichtung.
Das wird durch eine Vollwangen-Ausführung der Kurbelwelle erreicht.
Durch diese erhöhte Vorverdichtung steigt auch die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit im Motor und damit der Füllungsgrad des Brennraums, was besonders im oberen Drehzahlbereich die Leistung steigert.
