Die Ventilschaftdichtung ist über dem Ventilteller und unter der Feder auf den Ventilschaft aufgesteckt und sorgt hier für einen gleichmäßigen Schmierfilm. Ist sie defekt gelangt Motoröl über die Ventile in den Brennraum.
Im Herstellungsverfahren wurden nur ausgewählte Materialen, welche für höchste Belastungen ausgelegt sind, verwendet. Eine lange Lebensdauer ist somit „vorprogrammiert“.
