DESCRIPTION:
Whether it's the throttle cable, brake cable, clutch cable or shift cable, when a cable breaks, it usually happens directly at the nipple.
However, it is not necessary to replace the entire cable system. A new screw nipple is a quick remedy and the existing Bowden cable can be repaired in a simple and environmentally friendly way. Especially for oldtimers (such as Kreidler, Hercules, DKW and Zündapp), where the original Bowden cables are no longer available, a new screw nipple is often a simple and cost-saving solution - especially as the repair is uncomplicated.
Tip: How to find the right nipple!
There are many different nipples for mopeds, motorbikes, scooters and bicycles - it can be difficult to keep track of them all. To help you find the right nipple, we have a tip for you here:
Simply measure the torn nipple (preferably with a caliper): diameter and length are decisive. And then choose the right one from our shop. Our customer service will also be happy to help you!
Since the throttle cable, Bowden cable, brake cable or clutch cable tend to break at the nipples, it is advisable - especially when travelling - to always have a small supply so that a break does not prevent you from continuing your journey - we also have sets of up to 10 on offer.
