The Nuremberg Hercules factories were an essential part of the Nuremberg motorcycle industry. However, motorcycle production did not begin until 1928, 42 years after Carl Marschütz founded the company. Also through the cooperation with Fichtel & Sachs as an engine supplier, Hercules established itself in the market segment of light motorcycles up to 200 cm³ and bicycles with auxiliary engines.

This chain set is suitable for many Hercules mopeds and mopeds. It contains all parts necessary to replace the chain drive. The 11 chain sprocket is attached to the engine and connected to the rear wheel via the chain. The supplied chain is already cut to the right length and can therefore be mounted directly on the vehicle. With the help of the two chain tensioners the chain is brought to the correct tension.
