The Nuremberg Hercules works were an essential part of the Nuremberg motorcycle industry. Motorcycle production only began in 1928, 42 years after Carl Marschütz founded the company. Through the collaboration with Fichtel & Sachs as an engine supplier, Hercules established itself in the market segment of light motorcycles up to 200 cm³ and bicycles with auxiliary engines.
This chain set is suitable for many Hercules mopeds and mopeds. It contains all the parts needed to replace the chain drive. The 11 chain sprocket is attached to the engine and connected to the rear wheel via the chain. The chain supplied is already cut to the appropriate length and can therefore be mounted directly on the vehicle. The chain is brought to the correct tension using the two chain tensioners.
