DESCRIPTION:
In 1886/87 Carl Marschütz and his brother founded the "Nuremberg Velocipedfabrik Hercules". The production was initially designed for bicycles. From 1928 the production of motorbikes was profitable again and Hercules produced light motorbikes up to 200 cm³. When in 1930 the production of motors started at Fichtel & Sachs in Schweinfurt, they were immediately used by Hercules.
This pinion is suitable for Sachs 504 and 505 engines and is responsible for transmitting the torque from the engine to the rear wheel. When using smaller or larger sprockets, the tightening or speed can be increased.
Please note that changing the transmission ratio may invalidate the type approval of your vehicle.
