DESCRIPTION:
The company "Hercules" was founded in 1886 by Carl Marschütz as Velozipedfabrik Carl Marschütz & Co. and produced bicycles in the early years until 1928. It was not until 1928 that the production of motorbikes with an engine capacity of less than 200 cm³ was worthwhile again. All engines of the Hercules two-wheelers were made by Fichtel & Sachs.
The sprocket is used to transmit the rotation of the motor to the chain wheel on the rear wheel. The one offered here has a 12 x 15 mm mount and is suitable for Sachs engines 504 and 505. When using a sprocket with more or less teeth than the original gear ratio, the tightening or speed can be increased or improved.
