DESCRIPTION:
Whether it's a throttle cable, brake cable, clutch cable or shift cable, if a cable breaks, it usually happens right at the nipple.
However, it is not necessary to replace the whole cable system. Here a new screw nipple is a quick remedy and the existing Bowden cable can be repaired easily and environmentally friendly. Especially for oldtimers (like Kreidler, Hercules, DKW and Zündapp), where the original Bowden cables are usually no longer available, a new screw nipple is often a simple and cost-saving solution - especially since the repair is also uncomplicated.
Tip: How to find the right nipple!
For mopeds, mopeds and motorcycles, but also for scooters and bicycles, there is a wide range of different screw nipples - it is sometimes difficult to keep track of them. To help you find the right nipple, we have a tip for you here:
Simply measure the torn off nipple (best with a calliper): diameter and length are decisive. And then choose the right one in our shop. Our customer service will also be happy to help you! Call or write us!
Since throttle cable, Bowden cable, brake cable or clutch cable tend to tear at the nipples, we recommend - especially when travelling - always keeping a small stock, so that a tear does not prevent you from continuing your journey. We also have sets of up to 10 pieces in stock.
