The Nuremberg Hercules Werke was a big part of the 1920s motorcycle industry in Nuremberg. The company was founded by Karl Marschütz and his brother and manufactured two-wheelers up to 200 cc starting in 1928. An engine from Fichtel & Sachs was installed in the Hercules chassis.
The carburetor is responsible for forming the fuel-air mixture. It produces a combustible mixture, which is then fed into the combustion chamber of the engine. The carburetor also contains the throttle element, which is used to control the power and thus also the torque. This 85/10/. carburetor has a passage of 10 mm. It is installed on the Sachs engine types 504 and 505.
