Das Unternehmen "Hercules" wurde 1886 von Carl Marschütz als Velozipedfabrik Carl Marschütz & Co. gegründet und stellte in den Anfangsjahren bis zum Jahr 1928 Fahrräder her. Erst ab 1928 lohnte sich die Produktion von Motorrädern mit einem Hubraum unter 200 cm³ wieder. Sämtliche Motoren der Hercules-Zweiräder stammen von Fichtel & Sachs.

Die hier angebotene Sattelstütze ist passend für viele Hercules, Kreidler, Zündapp und Puch Einsitzer Mopeds, Mokicks und Mofas. Das Sattelrohr hat eine Länge von 185 mm und einen Durchmesser von 28 bzw. 22 mm.
