Die Nürnberger Hercules Werke waren ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Nürnberger Motorradindustrie. Die Motorradproduktion begann aber erst im Jahre 1928, also 42 Jahre nach Gründung des Unternehmens durch Carl Marschütz. Auch durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Fichtel & Sachs als Motorenlieferant, etablierte sich Hercules im Marktsegment der leichten Motorräder bis 200 cm³ und Fahrräder mit Hilfsmotor.
Der Ansauggummi ist passend für viele Hercules Modelle. Er dient zur Verbindung des Vergasers mit dem Luftfilter, sodass die angesaugte Luft in den Vergaser strömen kann. Der Gummi wird aus Öl und Hitze beständigem Material gefertigt und überzeugt durch seine erstklassige Verarbeitung.
