Die 1886 unter dem Firmen Namen "Velozipedfabrik Marschütz & Co." gegründeten Hercules-Werke, waren ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Nürnberger Motorradindustrie. Zunächst lag der Focus auf der Produktion von Fahrrädern. Im Jahre 1928 begann man mit der Produktion von motorisierten Zweirädern bis zu einem Hubraum von 200 ccm³. Dabei wurde eng mit dem Schweinfurter Unternehmen Fichtel & Sachs zusammengearbeitet, welches für die Herstellung von Motoren bekannt war.
Diese M20,8x1 Mutter, mit einer Stärke von 4,2 mm, ist passend für das Kupplungskorblager Ihres Sachs 50/2, 50/3 und 50/4 Motors. Mit der Mutter wird der Kupplungskorb auf dem Lager befestigt.
