DESCRIPTION:
The valve stem seal is placed over the valve head and under the spring on the valve stem, providing an even film of lubricant here. If it is defective, engine oil enters the combustion chamber via the valves. In the manufacturing process only selected materials, which are designed for highest loads, were used. A long service life is thus "preprogrammed".
