But what is a CDI? A Capacitor Discharge Ignition or high voltage capacitor ignition is a method of ignition where a capacitor is charged and suddenly discharged via the ignition transformer. The resulting high voltage is passed on to the spark plugs. Since the energy is available more quickly, an additional increase in speed is achieved.
This tuning CDI is suitable for example for the 4-stroke Kymco models Agility R16, Like and Super 8.
