Tip:
Experienced mechanics recommend replacing the cooling water at the same time as the cylinder, as this loses its quality after approx. two years and may flocculate, causing seals or fins to become clogged.
However, make sure you use the correct radiator fluid. The rule of thumb is: never mix products containing silicate with silicate-free products.
However, it is often no longer possible to trace which agent was used and it is almost impossible to change the fluid completely because components have deposited in the pipes.
Therefore, play it safe with a universal agent of the latest generation that can be mixed with all agents, e.g. Agip Antifreeze 12++.
