Gearbox 5-speed completely long with optimized splined shaft for Simson S51, S70, S53, S83, KR51/2 Sc

DESCRIPTION:
To improve gear shifting, we have included a more efficient spline shaft with this transmission set. The first to fourth gear is translated like a normal gearbox. Only the fifth gear has the long gear ratio with 24 teeth on the fixed wheel and 32 teeth on the loose wheel. The items are delivered already partly assembled and can be installed without modification on the housing of Simson models S51, S70, KR51/2 Schwalbe, SR50 and SR80. The short transmissions with five gears have a finer gear gradation. The difference to the long gear ratios is that the gears 1 to 4 of the long gear ratio are the same as on the normal engine and there is an additional fifth gear for a higher speed. The gearbox is suitable for tuning engines from 70ccm upwards.
Installation tip: Shift drum must not have axial play. Attention: Not permitted in the StVO.
