DESCRIPTION:
With this ignition capacitor starting problems with overheated engine and misfiring with a defective ignition capacitor are a thing of the past. Wear at the breaker contact due to spark erosion, damage due to pressing the capacitor into the base plate and an insufficient ground connection between engine and electrical system is also avoided. With commercially available capacitors, placing the capacitor too close to the engine and the associated strongly fluctuating temperature differences is unfavourable, which is avoided here by placing it below the tank. The article offered here is voltage-resistant up to 630V, whereas commercially available articles only withstand a voltage of up to 250V, although the primary coil generates voltage peaks of up to 300V. In addition, the high sensitivity of the capacitor often causes damage already during installation on the base plate. This ignition capacitor is suitable for the Simson models S50, S51 and S70.

Installation tip: Replace breaker contact and spark plug at the same time.
