Die Traditionsmarke Zündapp stellte von 1921 bis 1984 Mopeds bzw. Motorräder her und war einst der erfolgreichste Motorradhersteller Nürnbergs. Im Jahre 1984 ging das Unternehmen, aufgrund der Krise in der Motorradindustrie in Konkurs. Dennoch ist Zündapp nicht komplett von der Bildfläche verschwunden. Viele Zündapp-Freunde organisieren sich in Clubs und halten somit den Mythos "Zündapp" in Ehren.
Die Staubkappe deckt den Übergang zwischen Tauchrohr und Gabelrohr gegen Verschmutzungen ab. Damit schützt die Schutzkappe den Simmering und das Gabelöl. Diese Staubkappe hat einen Durchmesser unten von 42 mm und oben von 29 mm. Sie ist passend für die Zündapp Modelle KS 50.
