In 1895, Ernst Sachs and Karl Fichtel founded the "Schweinfurter Präcisions-Kugellagerwerke Fichtel & Sachs". Before the First World War, F&S was already considered a leading company for ball bearings and bicycle hubs. In the 1930s, the company then aimed to produce clutches, shock absorbers and small engines. The first Sachs engine, ready for series production, impressed with its reliability and was therefore installed by many two-wheeler manufacturers in their models.
The clutch of your Sachs engine slips? Then this may be due to worn friction plates. This set contains all the spare or wear parts needed for replacement. The clutch plates provide a frictional connection between the crankshaft and the transmission. To prevent transmission oil from leaking, the clutch cover gasket should be replaced. The two copper sealing rings on the oil drain plug and oil check screw should also be replaced. In addition, this set includes two new clutch cover plugs including rubber sealing ring. The included SAE80 gear oil is filled into the engine after assembly.
ZS note: Please note that there are different engine cover shapes for these engines. This set is suitable for engines with square covers, which have two different sized screw plugs installed.
