The history of Fichtel & Sachs began in 1895 when Ernst Sachs and Karl Fichtel founded the company. The patented "Torpedo free-wheel hub" was the breakthrough for the rise of the company. Wheel hubs and ball bearings were manufactured until 1932. In this year, Ernst Sachs developed the first production-ready Sachs two-stroke engine with 98 cc. This was used by many two-wheeler manufacturers in their models. Until the 1990s, Sachs engines could be found in many mopeds, mopeds and mokickxes.
You can refit your engine with this kick starter lever. The rider's kick accelerates the crankshaft to the speed needed to start the engine. Until about 1970, this was the most common way of starting the engine. This lever is hinged, curved and is connected to the gearbox by the kick starter shaft.
