Im Jahre 1987 wurde die erste Saxonette, mit dem uns heute bekannten Radnabenmotor gebaut. Es handelt sich hierbei um den Motor Typ 301 von Fichtel & Sachs. Er hat einen Hubraum von 30 cm³ und leistet 0,7 PS. Die Saxonette wurde auch in Großbritannien und in den Niederlanden unter dem Handelsnamen Spartamet verkauft.

Mit diesem Gasschieber können Sie die zum Motor strömende Luft regulieren. Durch Ziehen des Gaszuges bewegt sich der Schieber nach oben und der geöffnete Querschnitt der Vergasers wird größer. Damit wird auch mehr Kraftstoff in die durchströmende Luft geleitet und die Gemischmenge wird mehr. Passend ist dieser Reparatursatz für Saxonette und Spartamet.
