Bing is probably one of the best known manufacturers of carburetors in the two-wheeler sector. The company was founded in 1864 in Nuremberg and did not manufacture carburetors until 1932. Only when Fritz Hintermayr acquired the name "Bing" from the bankruptcy estate, the carburetor production was started. The customer base included many well-known two-wheeler manufacturers such as Hercules, Zündapp, Victoria and NSU.
