Die Nürnberger Hercules Werke waren ein großer Bestandteil der 1920er Motorradindustrie in Nürnberg. Das Unternehmen wurde von Karl Marschütz und seinem Bruder gegründet und stellte ab 1928 Zweiräder bis 200 ccm³ her. Dabei wurde in den Hercules Fahrwerken ein Motor von Fichtel & Sachs verbaut.
Das Zylinder Kit besteht aus einem Zylinder und einem Kolbenset. Der Hubraum dieses Zylinders beträgt 50ccm und ist passend für gebläsegekühlte Sachs Motoren. Die Kolbenbohrung beträgt 38 mm und der Kolbenbolzen hat einen Durchmesser von 12 mm. Zusammen mit dem Zylinderkopf ist es die Aufgabe des Zylinders den Verbrennungsraum zu begrenzen.
