DESCRIPTION:
The Zündapp company history began on February 17, 1917 when Fritz Neumeyer and two other entrepreneurs founded Zünder und Apparatebau GmbH. However, it took another 4 years before the first moped/motorbike was produced, as the 1800 workers were only commissioned to manufacture artillery fuzes for the armaments industry. After this company, too, was hit by the crisis in the motorcycle industry, Zündapp went into insolvency in 1984 after an economic up-and-down. This sticker is placed on the bottom of the tank next to the fuel tap. It should serve as an indication to close the fuel tap after the ride.
