Hercules is probably a well-known name to every vintage two-wheeler owner. The company was founded in 1886 by Carl Marschütz and manufactured bicycles until 1928. It was not until 1928 that the production of light motorcycles under 200 cc became profitable again. From this time on, Hercules-Werke used third-party engines from Fichtel & Sachs.
Whether it's the throttle cable, brake cable, clutch cable or shift cable, when a cable breaks, it usually happens right at the nipple. However, the entire cable system does not have to be replaced. Here, a new screw nipple provides a quick remedy and you can repair the existing Bowden cable easily and environmentally friendly.
