Intake manifold set for Yamaha Virago XV 750 1000 1100, front + rear cylinder

Irregular engine running at idle usually indicates old, hardened or brittle intake manifolds.

DESCRIPTION:
The engine draws false air and therefore runs noticeably lean. In the worst case, the engine could run hot and, in the case of extreme air leakage, even various cost-intensive defects could occur. It must not come so far.

With our intake manifolds in OEM quality, you do everything right. The design and dimensions of the intake manifold correspond to the original and can be replaced without any problems. The rear intake manifold is equipped with 2 vacuum connections and can therefore also be used for the Japanese and US-American version of the Yamaha XV 1000 with the split tank and mechanical vacuum fuel tap. For the European version with the electric fuel tap, the right of the two connections is not needed and is therefore equipped with a cap.

Note:
The intake ports of the front and rear cylinders are almost identical, but differ slightly in angle. Therefore it is essential to pay attention to the correct assignment (2 open ports at the front - 1 open port at the rear) during installation, otherwise the carburettor battery is very difficult to insert and draws false air.
