This usually indicates old, hardened or brittle intake manifolds.
The Mtoor draws false air and therefore runs noticeably lean. In the worst case, the engine could run hot and, in the case of extreme false air intake, even various cost-intensive defects could occur. It doesn't have to come to that.
With our original equipment quality intake manifolds, you're doing everything right. Simply compare the existing intake manifolds with the ones shown here.
