DESCRIPTION:
presto Underbody Protection Bitumen forms a tough-elastic, permanent sealant on the underside of machines and vehicles and wheel housings of all kinds of motor vehicles. Underbodies are protected against mechanical and chemical stresses such as stone chipping, road salt, water, rust and weather influences. The thixotropic properties of presto Underbody Protection allow the application in thick layers without runners.

- Salt spray test (DIN 50021): 1000 h without rust infiltration at 400µ dry film thickness; up to 480 h without rust infiltration at 200µ dry film thickness
- Temperature resistance: -25°C to +80°C
- Application temperature: +5°C - +30°C, optimum results at room temperature
- Drying times (20°C, 65% humidity): Dust dry after approx. 1 1/2 h; completely dry after approx. 2 1/2 h in the case of aerosol The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity and the applied layer thickness.
- Shelf life/storage: 10 years with proper storage (=10°-25°C, relative humidity of max. 60%)
