Already in 1937, Fichtel & Sachs developed a two-stroke built-in engine for bicycles. This 60 cc "Saxonette" engine was built under license by many manufacturers. The second series of Saxonette bicycles was introduced in Germany in 1987 under the Hercules label. The new Sachs Type 301 engine with 30 cc produced 0.7 hp. The light moped was built until 2011.
This brake shoe set is suitable for the Hercules models Prima and M. With the brake technology using a brake drum, when the brake is applied, the brake shoes are pressed from the inside against the rotating drum. These brake shoes have a dimension of 90 x 18 mm.
