Especially the load change during acceleration and braking demands a lot from the inner tube. Therefore, the inner tube should be checked and replaced regularly. The rim tape protects the tube from mechanical damage caused by spoke heads, metal burrs and holes in the rim.

TIP: The tire size 2.75-17 was used as standard on the rear wheel of the Simson S 53/83 OR, but can also be used on the Enduro version of the S51 with the appropriate rim. The tire is also suitable for scrambler conversions on Simson basis.
