The model ETZ 250 was built from 1981 to 1988 in Zschopau, Saxony. It has a twelve-volt ignition system and - by the way the only MZ - the 18-inch rear wheel.

Motorcycle tires are a safety-relevant equipment feature of every two-wheeler. The tires provide the contact of the vehicle to the road and have a great influence on the driving dynamics on the one hand and are an essential element of driving safety on the other hand. The inner tube has to withstand a lot. The material is constantly deformed, heated and rubs against the tire's casing. Especially the load change during acceleration and braking demands a lot from the inner tube. Therefore, the inner tube should be checked and replaced regularly. The rim tape protects the tube from mechanical damage caused by spoke heads, metal burrs and holes in the rim.
